How Can You Change People’s Lives? How About Changing the World?

change the world

It sounds harder than it really is.  Check out this video of how this waitress had her life changed with some amazing “tips”.

Now most of us can’t afford $1,000 or a car or a trip to Hawaii.  But we all have resources and gifts that we can give to others.  It may be something as simple as saying hello to someone or asking them how their day is going.  By taking just a little extra time and making a little more effort, we can change people’s lives or at least make their day better.  So try being a little more engaged.  Find out a little bit about the people you come into contact with during your day and make them feel special.

We talk a lot in our programs about creating a positive emotional experience instead of just a transaction.  This goes for our personal life as well.  What can yo do to create a positive emotional experience at the grocery store, the dry cleaners, or the bank?  All it takes is a little time, a little energy, and a little engagement.

Commit to it today.  Make a vow to make someone’s life better today.  I know it sounds a little corny.  But think of the impact that could have in the lives of thousands of people.  Then, what if they make that same effort?  Then, you are impacting hundreds of thousands of people.

If you have more time and resources, you can make a bigger impact.  Volunteer somewhere or give away your talents to a non-profit.  I would love to see how this idea works.  If you implement it and make an impact, I would love to know about it.  Please write to me.

Now go out and change the world!
